educators

we are in an exciting project exploring the use of stereo 3D video and still photography in school education, putting stereo 3D in the hands of the pupils themselves - they become creators of 3D content not just consumers

this project has created a lot of interest in other local schools: we are developing a training package aligned with the core curriculum for delivery to other educators

we are also responding to requests from inside and outside the mainstream school sector for locally generated 3D educational content, for example in technology and engineering, the local environment, history and geography

leisure, music and entertainment

with our connections in the local music scene we have been shooting trial stereo 3D videos of local live bands - stereo 3D high definition music videos are no longer just the preserve of the megastars.

we expect the widespread availability of glasses-free displays to begin during 2011 on small-screen devices, such as mobiles and laptops, and this will drive an increasing demand for web-delivered 3D visual content to this class of device over the next few years
corporate and business

early corporate adopters of stereo 3D viewing are in the computer gaming and architectural visualisation markets, for example, but there is tremendous potential for 3D video in many other areas:

product training videos
health and safety and other operational training videos
marketing and promotional material
and, of course, advertising

with the increasing adoption of 3D TV in the home, content demand and opportunities for 3D advertising will grow significantly in the years ahead
